FM Coalition for Homeless Persons | Bush Prize for Community Innovation 2017
"When we come together, we become innovative by nature of the fact that we bring different perspectives to the table."
-Cody J. Schuler, Executive Director - FM Coalition for Homeless Persons
The Fargo-Moorhead Coalition for Homeless Persons bridges borders to find permanent solutions to homelessness. The FM Coalition works with local and regional partners to implement a “housing first” model that places people experiencing homelessness in permanent housing before addressing other needs. It's a model that is now inspiring a transformation of services for the homeless in states all across the country.
